Dear Friend,
We hope you are staying warm wherever you may be around the country! Welcome to our monthly newsletter where we wrap up the past month and look ahead to exciting opportunities in the world of multi-sectoral collaboration on climate change.
🌏 ON OUR AGENDA 🌏
This month, our agenda is charged with exciting developments shaping the future of Australia's climate and energy policies. A major highlight is the launch of the National Consumer Energy Resources Roadmap, which focuses on integrating technology like solar panels and batteries more effectively into our energy system, making our grid more reliable and cost-effective. The Australian Government is finalising the Guarantee of Origin scheme, setting standards for low-emission hydrogen and other green fuels to enhance transparency and build confidence in these technologies. These topics are central to our upcoming Better Futures Forum discussions about local clean energy projects shaping national climate policies.
Our team is focused on all things Better Futures Forum, with great speakers and a variety of engaging topics lined up. Early Bird ticket pricing has been extended until Friday, August 9 so make sure you register before then.

In mid July we co-hosted a webinar - Aligning Policy Engagement with Net Zero - a Spotlight on Australia - with InfluenceMap and Race to Zero.
We looked at the policy building blocks needed to drive the emissions reduction required in this decisive decade, and also how non-state actors, like businesses, investors, and cities, can shape better climate policy in Australia.
