Plans for the Better Futures Forum 2026 are underway, with a timeframe of September 2026 and a location still to be confirmed. BFF 2026 will act as a 'big tent' moment for non-state actors and civil society groups. It's crucial for multi-sectoral players to come together and align their initiatives, campaigns, and advocacy in advance of COP31, scheduled for November 2026, likely in Adelaide, South Australia.
In what will be the fourth biennial Better Futures Forum, we look forward to gathering the wider BFA community - civil society groups, climate organisations, first nations organisations, all levels of government, businesses, academia, the arts, the media and others - as we explore ways to reduce Australia’s emissions, transition to clean energy and pave the way for a better future for all Australians.
