Climate Emergency Coordinator, City of Yarra

Sam Green is the Climate Emergency Coordinator at Yarra City Council. She has worked in the local government sector for nearly a decade, working alongside communities, building awareness of environmental issues and supporting people to take action on these.  

In her current role, she is responsible for designing, delivering and overseeing a range of community climate programs which support and empower the community to take strong action in response to climate change. Her work is all about bringing people together and enabling them to be active citizens creating change.
