Robert has over ten years of experience across waste and sustainability in both local government and private business. Since joining Blue Mountains City Council, he has developed and implemented its Carbon Abatement Action Plan, established a Carbon Revolving Reserve, and enabled over $1.8m of investment in energy efficiency and renewable energy. The programs have delivered a 25% reduction in emissions and will see Council committing to becoming a Net Zero Organisation by 2025.
Robert holds both a BSc in Environmental Protection and a MSc in Carbon Management from the University of Edinburgh.
