Dr Georgia Behrens BA (Hons I), MD is a junior doctor from Sydney. While completing her medical studies, Georgia represented international medical students at the United Nations climate change negotiations; coordinated policy initiatives for the Medical Journal of Australia-Lancet Countdown on Health and Climate Change; and held leadership positions with several local and national student organisations. Georgia currently sits on the board of Doctors for the Environment Australia, and holds an adjunct appointment with the School of Medicine Sydney, University of Notre Dame Australia.
