Darren O’Connell currently works for Shoalhaven City Council as the Energy Management Coordinator. He prepared the Council’s first Sustainable Energy Policy and Strategy. Darren has also project managed 600 kW of solar PV installations on 14 Council assets, implemented Council’s Revolving Energy Fund, and initiated LED lighting upgrades for buildings and residential street lighting across the Shoalhaven LGA.
Darren has completed a Masters in Environmental Management and worked for almost 15 years in environmental sustainability and energy management for the State and Local Government sectors.
