Claire is the Head of Business Development at JET Charge. JET Charge designs, distributes, installs, and manages electric vehicle charging solutions nationwide. Beginning as a domestic EV charger installer in 2013, JET Charge has since expanded to every corner of this growing industry with one simple objective: build expertise in EV charging, establish long-term partnerships, and solve problems better than any other company.
Prior to joining JET Charge, Claire worked for Mercedes-Benz Australia leading the transition into electric mobility with a focus on readying the Australian and New Zealand markets for electric vehicles and supporting services, including charging infrastructure. Claire has also worked for ClimateWorks Australia, responsible for the transport and energy sector work with a focus on identifying key market barriers to net zero emission transitions. As a part of this role, Claire was involved in the establishment of the Australian Electric Vehicle Council and published The State of Electric Vehicles in Australia. In addition, Claire worked for the EU-based Climate Policy Initiative, managing the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance aimed at identifying and piloting forward-thinking climate finance instruments that will increase private investment into climate change mitigation and adaptation in developing countries.
