In 2008 Trevor began work as a full-time official following a career that worked across several different sectors in the electrical industry including power distribution and transmission, electrical maintenance, and industrial construction where he was often elected by his workmates as the site health and safety representative and union delegate.
Since becoming a full-time official Trevor has represented electrical workers interests on many different committees, boards, and advisory councils at both the state and federal level. He has extensive experience working with diverse stakeholder groups which has led to the development and implementation of improved industry standards through the provision of advice, detailed policy analysis and advocacy across employers, regulatory agencies, and government.
Trevor currently holds the positions of:
- Commissioner on the Safety Rehabilitation and Compensation Commission
- National Policy Officer - Electrical Trades Union of Australia
- Member of the NSW Renewable Energy Sector Board
- Member of the CEC’s Clean Energy Workforce Reference Group
