Evelyne De Leeuw

Director Healthy Urban Environments at UNSW Australia Research Centre for Primary Health Care & Equity

Evelyne de Leeuw is a professor of urban health political science at the Centre for Health Equity Training, Research and Evaluation CHETRE, and the Healthy Environments (HUE) Collaboratory. Based in South Western Sydney, her work has global reach. She came to Australia sixteen years ago after having spent time in the Netherlands, Kazakhstan, Denmark, Canada, and El Salvador. She has written and edited a couple of books and several hundred articles (check out her 'Short-Sighted Sycophant's Selfie’). The crux of her current work is boundary spanning between research, policy, practice and experience.
