Alexi Lynch

Business Manager of Ironbark Sustainability

Alexi has 20 years of experience in the sustainability and climate change field since co-founding the Environmental Jobs Network (EJN) in 2001. As President of EJN he oversaw the rapid growth of the network, expanding it throughout Australian and New Zealand with a focus on providing a wealth of information for job-seekers in the growing environmental jobs field. Alexi managed ICLEI Oceania’s flagship Cities for Climate Protection (CCP) campaign in Australia, building the capacity of Local Government to tackle climate change. Over 230 councils participated in CCP, representing 84 per cent of Australia's population.

Alexi has been at Ironbark Sustainability since 2009 and works with Australian councils and local and global partners to help reduce emissions and tackle climate change. He also holds a Board position as Chair of Climate for Change, an organisation specifically focused on helping people to have conversations with their peers on climate change.
